Cupcakes by Sonja

Hey guys... I’m back, I just posted another blog a while ago and here I am doing another one. Well if you read my New Year’s resolution blog I mentioned that part of my new year resolution is to post as many blogs as I can, so that’s what I’m doing right now. It’s not like I feel obligated to do this, but mainly because I’m having fun and I love what I’m doing.

Ok, so for this blog I’ll be talking about one of my favorite food...Cupcakes! Oh yes! One of the many favorite desserts I have. I know that a lot of you guys love cupcakes. Let’s take a minute and talk about these delicious, mouth-watering creations. Shall we?

There’s a tiny, cozy store at Serendra called “Cupcakes by Sonja”. The store is all about cupcakes of course by the name of the store itself. But it’s not your ordinary cupcake store. They are selling the most delicious cupcakes in the entire world! I know I’m exaggerating, but it’s really, really good. I admit I’m not a big fan of cupcakes before; I'm eating cupcakes alright, the one that you can buy at a grocery store or a retail store but not on a daily basis. So I first saw the store when my friends and I went to Serendra just to hang around and have lunch, and then we were looking for something sweet and then we saw this store “Cupcakes by Sonja”, so we went inside and we saw all the different varieties of the cupcakes their selling. The store is just small and very cozy, the smell was great! Great is not the right word, I must say appetizing! It makes you think of fresh, hot donuts.
All the cupcakes are colorful, they look good and they definitely taste better! We bought the Choco Cream Pie I believe and we were so smitten by it’s taste. It was so delicious. The icing was extra ordinary and the cake itself was a 10! Perfect 10! One cupcake can make your stomach full! Omg double H KP! Just typing this makes me crave for a cupcake. If I just have the time and money I will definitely go there and grab a box full of cupcakes. But it’s far from where I live so everytime we go there we buy like 2 or 3 cupcakes!

So, if ever you go to Serendra, put this on your MUST TRY list. You wont regret this. But I tell you once you pop, you can’t stop. You’ve been warned my friend. Their cupcakes range from 60 – 100 pesos a piece, but it’s totally worth it. Here are the list of flavors that I got from the net, I’m not sure if some of the flavors are still available, the prices might be different right now, but this is just to give you an idea. I also posted some pictures of the cupcakes, so you can see what they actually look like. There’s also a picture of the store itself. See how cozy the store is. The pictures inside the store are so vintage, it’s really cool.
